Pierre Van Fraeyenhoven


Pierre Van Fraeyenhoven has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law in both advisory and litigation aspects.

In addition to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions, he has gained significant experience in advising retail companies wishing to establish or operate a distribution network (agency, concession, franchise, etc.) in Belgium or abroad. In this context, he assists his clients from their initial ideas through to actual implementation.

Pierre also regularly represents clients in court and arbitration proceedings relating to commercial disputes, post-acquisition action, investments, and disputes between shareholders.

He acts for clients in various sectors of the economy, including the automotive industry, construction, fashion and hotels.

Prior to joining van Cutsem Wittamer, Marnef and Partners, Pierre Van Fraeyenhoven worked in a major international law firm and also worked in Paris.

Pierre has recently been referred to as «highly  recommended » for his M&A practice by Leaders’ League Magazine 2019
